Privacy Policy and Personal Information Collection Statement

When EPS Company (Hong Kong) Limited (the "Company") collects personal data or any information from you through the web page situated at http://www.eps.com.hk (the "Website"), it is the Company's policy to comply fully with the requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Chapter 486 of the laws of Hong Kong) which regulates the treatment of personal data and information. Personal data is any information relating to any living individual from which it is possible to identify that individual. In dealing with personal data, we will ensure compliance by our staff with the standards of security and confidentiality prescribed by the laws of Hong Kong.

This Statement explains our practice in relation to the collection, retention, storage and sharing of personal data.

1.	Collection of Personal Data and Information
	1.1	The Company will occasionally collect personal data and information (the "Collected Information"), including but not limited to your name, title, position, address, telephone numbers (including mobile and fax numbers), email address, IP address, browser type, domain name, access time, other contact details and other information relating to other persons relevant to the information or services you have requested, from you which will be processed for the specific purpose which will be given at the time or for any purpose stated in this Statement or the Website Use and Access Agreement.
	1.2	In addition to any specific purpose, the Company may at anytime use the Collected Information for its internal statistical research and analysis. The Company may also use and share with its marketing communications and operations partners and related merchants the Collected Information for the marketing of their respective products and services and for providing you with information and materials about such products and services or other upcoming events. At the time of collection of such information from you, you will be given the option to opt-out from receiving such information and materials. 	1.3	You acknowledge and agree that the provision of the Collected Information to the Company is voluntary. However, any failure to supply all information requested by the Company may result in its being unable to process your requests fully or at all.
	1.4	The Company shall make a record of your visit to the Website. The record will show the domain name, server address, part of your email address and details of the pages visited. The Company only collects aggregate information about the number and types of visitors by reference to their domain name and server address. This information is used by the Company for preparing general statistics on the usage of the Website and may also be disclosed by the Company in the case of any unlawful use of the Website.
	1.5	The Company primarily collects the Collected Information directly by requesting that you complete forms and/or questionnaires. The Company may also gather the Collected Information through the use of "cookies". Cookies are small bits of information that are automatically stored by a website on a person's web browser in his/her computer that can be retrieved by that website. The Company may use cookies to collect your personal data. Should you wish to disable those cookies you may do so by changing the settings on your browser. However, doing so may cause some of the Company's webpages to display incorrectly or not at all.
2.	Security
	2.1	The Company will use such secured encryption systems as are appropriate for the collection of the Collected Information through the Website. However, we emphasize that no security measures are 100% secure and it is possible that others may intercept the information you are sending to or transmitting through the Website. The Company does not warrant that the Website is impenetrable or invulnerable to hackers.
	2.2	The Company will take such steps as are appropriate to ensure the security of the Collected Information while it is held by the Company. This will include password protection and other electronic security technology as well as physical security methods. Personal data, whether stored in electronic form on computers or in hard-copy form, will be accessible only by authorised officers or employees of the Company. Persons designated by the Company to handle the Collected Information will be made acquainted with this Statement and told how to fulfil the Company's obligations to you.
	2.3	Collected Information will be retained only for such period as may be necessary for the carrying out of the purposes referred to in this Statement or as otherwise specified at the time of collection.
	2.4	Any personal data the Company receives from you will not be disclosed to any third party except as provided herein, as notified to you at the time of collection, or with your prior consent.
	2.5	The Company does not rent, trade or sell information gathered online for commercial purposes other than those as specified in the Website.
3.	Hyperlinks
	If you click on a hyperlink taking you from the Website to another website, the Company shall not be responsible for the privacy and security practices or the content of such website and you should refer to the privacy policy of each website you enter.
4.	Disclosure of Collected Information
	4.1	Except with your prior consent or as required by law, the Company will not transfer or disclose the Collected Information to any third party except as stated below:- any personnel, agent, adviser, auditor, contractor or service provider who provides services or advice to the Company in connection with its operations insofar as required to enable the Company to provide, or assist the Company in providing, the services you have requested; unless you have chosen not to receive marketing communications, the Company's marketing communications and operations partners and related merchants with whom it shares information for the purpose of providing you with information about their products and services; any person under a duty of confidentiality to the Company; and any person or organisation to whom the Company is required to make disclosure under an order or request issued by any government authorities or under any law applicable in or outside Hong Kong.
	4.2	You should note that as the Company has no control over the acts of any third party, the privacy protection stated in this Statement ceases to apply to any information which has been disclosed to a third party in accordance with its policy. The Company endeavours to deal only with responsible third parties but assumes no responsibility for the privacy protection provided by such third parties.
5.	Data Access and Correction
	5.1	You are entitled to access any of the Collected Information that the Company holds about you, and if applicable to correct or update it.

	5.3	The Company has the right to charge a reasonable fee for processing a data access request pursuant to this clause.
6.	Changes of the Privacy Policy and Personal Information Collection Statement
	6.1	The Company reserves the right to change and amend this Statement. However, we shall not do so without posting those changes on the Website.
	6.2	If at any point we decide to use the Collected Information in a manner different from such manner as described in this Statement, we will notify you via email or by posting a prominent notice on the Website 30 days prior to implementing the change. Your express consent will be needed before we use the relevant Collected Information provided by you in this different manner.
7.	General Provision
	In case of discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions of this Statement, the English version shall prevail over the Chinese version which is provided for information purposes only.
